My mom recently come across this beaute library brand at kepong area... saw it on the billboard. the design of the billboard was nice so that attracted my mom to want to try it out.
i accompanied my mom to the branch on the date of our appointment. the surroundings is good and the interior decorated very nicely. overall its good since everything seem to be quite new.
however, something make me feel very uncomfortable about beaute library.
since i have mention before i have tried many beauty brands and services, i am able to difference between good products and bad products.
i am shocked when i saw the their products leaflet and checked their products itself!
in the leaflet, it clearly states that their beaute library products is 100% organic... but there is ZERO organic/certified organic products in the ingredient listing!
any organic products should have a certification from the organisations. if in europe or uk, they have ecocert, while in usa they usually hav usda certificates to confirm that they are truly organic.
i know that some products in the market just put in 1 or 2 certified organic ingredients, and name the product as organic. but this beaute library is really going too far by claiming that it is 100% organic when it is clearly not!
i have seen some beaute library reviews of this brand by bloggers, even endorse by capital fm (latest women radio station in malaysia). why these bloggers or radio station does not do their checking before introducing these brands to consumers like us?
i hope to spread this news out to more people so that no one is cheated by beaute library's skincare range...
it is not about the price of the products but more importantly whether it is a trustworthy brand. i know that business people sometimes do some 'grey' marketing where they try to hide/trick with some tactics (like brands with 1 or 2 certified organic ingredients, but other ingredients are not organic - yet they put the word ORGANIC largely across the box)...
but this beaute library is really too much. they also put a eco-friendly logo in the leaflet - i am doubtful how eco-friendly is all these packaging as it seems like full of plastics only!

Welcome...
Welcome to Truth about Beauty!
I am a beauty lover who goes around trying many different types of beauty products. skincare, makeup, hair, services like slimming and spas.
i llove to be pamper and love to try new things.... however recently i have learn more and more knowledgeable about many ingredients in the products available in the market around Malaysia especially in the klang valley.
many are untrue and claims to be very effective, or very safe for humans and will be unfair to consumers.
this is why i have started this beauty blog, but make it a bit different from the rest by sharing my thoughts and information on many brands in KL.
hope that you can enjoy your time here.
